Sound and Technician for a Tinkle and easyJet Event in Malaga

On Thursday 22 October 2026, Malaga Event Gear (MEG) supplied the sound and a technician for an event in the centre of Malaga, Spain. The event was held for Tinkle, a communications agency with offices in Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon, which was working for easyJet, the low cost airline.

It was a compact job in a setting that is attractive and not easy to work in. We are reporting it because it shows what a sound only job for an agency looks like.

What We Supplied

Sound and a technician, and nothing else. The stage, the screen, the seating, the plants and the decoration that you can see in the photographs are not Malaga Event Gear equipment.

On our side there was the sound system: a mixing console, handheld microphones and PA speakers on stands. The photographs show the sound desk with a clear view of the stage.

A Talk in the Centre of Malaga

The photographs show a talk with three speakers seated on a low stage, with a screen beside them for the slides. The hall has arched galleries and colourful banners, and the job took place in the centre of Malaga, an attractive place to hold an event and a demanding one to work in.

The venue is not named here.

A Request That Came in by Phone

The request reached us by phone the week before the event. The brief was sound and a technician, in the centre of Malaga.

What a Talk Like This Needs From the Sound

For a talk with a few seated speakers, the sound has three jobs:

  • A technician at the desk. Someone sets the levels before the talk, watches them while it runs and solves any problem with the sound. At our events the technician operates the sound and the microphones, and the speakers run their own slides.
