1x ADJ Encore FRI50Z. A fixed zoom Fresnel wash light, the kind of steady, adjustable beam used to wash a speaker, a podium or a stage feature in even light rather than a color changing effect. Also a separate, quote on request item.

1x ADJ Element H6 Pack. A wireless, battery powered uplighting kit of 6 fixtures, for washing a wall, backdrop or structure with color from the floor rather than spotlighting a fixed point. Realistically, 6 fixtures cover accent lighting for 2 to 4 venue features, an entrance, a head table, a run of columns, or one feature wall, not a full room wash. It is a separate item from our uplighting kit's colored spotlights below, with its own quote.

2 RGBW LED light bars, Eco Pack. A color changing accent fixture, delivered and set up by our crew as part of the package, then run without a technician for the rest of your event. Published at 290 euros ex VAT for up to 50 guests.

Foot Pedal Control, Not DMX: What "Programmable" Actually Means Here

A general search for stage lighting rental often implies DMX programmable fixtures, moving heads that pan and tilt on cue, or a lighting console a technician runs from a script. That is not what MEG stocks, and we would rather correct that expectation here than let you find out on the day of your event.

The Eurolite LED KLS-200 bar is controlled by a foot pedal, a simple on stage switch a performer or technician presses to change the fixture's color or pattern, not a DMX signal sent from a lighting desk. The ADJ Encore FRI50Z Fresnel is a fixed zoom wash light with no automated movement. The ADJ Element H6 Pack uplighting kit has no published DMX or app based color control either: our technician sets the color for your event on site, based on what you tell us when you book, rather than handing you a remote or an app. None of our 3 specialty fixtures pan, tilt or follow a programmed cue sheet. If your event genuinely needs automated, DMX driven lighting, we would rather say so now, before you book, than after.

Delivery, Setup, Testing and Collection: What We Mean By "Stage Lighting Installation"

Some searches for stage lighting rental are really asking about installation, whether a supplier just drops off boxes or actually sets the equipment up. At MEG, installation is not a separate service line with its own quote: it is bundled into every rental, for every fixture on this page.

Our crew delivers the fixtures to your venue, positions and aims them for the space, tests each one before your event starts, and returns to collect everything afterward. That is true for the Eco Pack's RGBW light bars, the Wedding Pack's fairy lights with a technician on site for the duration, and for the Eurolite bar, Fresnel and uplighting kit when you book them separately. We do not have a standalone "installation" business line the way a systems integrator that mounts permanent fixtures into a venue's ceiling would. Two of our five fixtures ship inside a fixed package price. The other three, the Eurolite bar, the Fresnel and the uplighting kit, are real inventory without a published a la carte price, because the right quantity and setup depends on your venue. All 5 of our packages include sound equipment as a baseline. Only 2 also bundle lighting into that same price: the Eco Pack and the Wedding Pack. The Basic MICE Pack, Product Presentation Pack and MICE Pack include sound but no lighting line at all, their visual layer is a projection screen or LED display instead of stage lighting. If your event runs on one of those 3 packages and also needs lighting, the Eurolite bar, Fresnel or uplighting kit above are added as a separate, quote on request item, the same as they would be for any other event.

What We Don't Stock

A general search for stage lighting in Malaga turns up categories that are not part of our catalog. Rather than stay quiet about it, here is the direct list:

• Moving head or intelligent lighting fixtures. We do not own DMX pan and tilt robotic fixtures. Everything above is either fixed position or a foot pedal controlled bar, not an automated rig.

• DMX lighting controllers. We do not stock a DMX control desk or software. The Eurolite bar's foot pedal is not a DMX control system.

• Truss systems. We do not stock truss as a separate rental item. Our fixtures are stand mounted or floor placed by our crew, not rigged to an overhead truss structure.

• Follow spotlights, cold spark machines, strobe lights or blacklights. None of these appear anywhere in our packages or equipment catalog. We won't invent a quote for a product we don't stock.

Outdoor Use: Power and Honest Weather Limits

Villa terraces, gardens and beach clubs around Malaga are common venues for all 5 of our fixtures, and outdoor placement raises 2 real questions we would rather answer here in one place than scatter across separate pages.

An outlet far from where a corded fixture needs to sit is a real, common problem at outdoor venues, and we stock 2 real items for exactly that: a 2000W portable electrical panel with a 380/220V transformer, and a separate power stabilizer. Between them, our crew can usually run a corded fixture to wherever your venue needs it, without you having to find or rent your own extension solution. We do not stock a generator: if your venue genuinely has no power source within reach of either item, tell us during booking and we will confirm honestly whether the placement is possible.

On weather, "IP rating" is the honest technical answer to "can this handle rain or humidity," a scale from IP54 (dust and light splashes) up through IP67 and IP68 (fully submersible). We have not confirmed a published IP rating for any of our 5 fixtures, the 3 specialty items or the RGBW bars and fairy lights bundled into a package. Book as soon as your event date is confirmed. Demand on the Costa del Sol peaks during wedding season, from April through October, when technicians and our most requested fixtures fill up first. Because 2 of our 5 fixtures, the Eurolite bars, exist in only 2 units, and the uplighting kit has only 6 fixtures total, confirming your date early also gives us time to check they are genuinely free, on top of whichever package you have already booked.
